Due to engineering works on the Northumberland Line on 19 September, 20 September, 26 September and 27 September 2026, Passengers can travel on the Rail Replacement Bus Service between Ashington and Northumberland Park (via all stations) then changing onto the Tyne & Wear Metro from there to Newcastle City Centre. This Local easement applies in both directions.
