During engineering work between 10 October 2026 to 16 October 2026 customers travelling between Pewsey to or from Taunton and all stations west of Taunton, holding tickets routed via Reading are permitted to travel via Swindon during the disruption. This is so that the higher priced via Reading tickets become valid via the rail replacement buses between Pewsey and Swindon. This Fare route easement applies in both directions.
