Passengers travelling to Edinburgh and beyond, whose normal route is via Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed, may travel via Carlisle during engineering works on the weekends of 19-20 and 26-27 September 2026 and 3-4 October 2026. This map easement applies in both directions.
