Customers travelling from Dunbar to Acklington, Widdrington, Pegswood,Morpeth, Cramlington and Manors in possession of tickets routed 'Any Permitted' may travel via Edinburgh. This easement applies in both directions.

    • ends at { Dunbar [DUN] }
    • does not pass through any of { Newcastle [NCL] }

    then…

    • the local journey may double-back through { Edinburgh [EDB] } if any of these locations is the overall journey origin or destination, even if it fails the fares check
    • the local part-journey may follow a non-permitted route between the overall journey origin/destination and the origin/destination routeing point if the routeing point is one of { Edinburgh [EDB] }
    • a journey with a common routeing point is valid, even if this is not the shortest journey, if the common routeing point is { Edinburgh [EDB] }
    • a journey which does not have an origin or destination routeing point is valid if the overall journey origin or destination station is { Edinburgh [EDB] }
